About

Alfebeth, also known as the Alfebeth Alphabet, the Animatopian Basic, the Animatopian Common Script, the Animatopian Common Alphabet, the Animatopian Basic Alphabet, or the Animatopian Basic Script, is a glyphic language writing system and script, takingly borrowed from the elements of the Greek alphabet as well as the Latin script (specifically the basic Latin, English, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, and Esperanto alphabets), the Phoenician alphabet, and Aurebesh from the Star Wars universe, and used for predominantly transcribing and writing the widely spoken and universal language or lingua franca of the exoplanet of Animatopia known as Animatopian Basic Standard, which is culturally derived from the Common Tongue that came first for a long time.

For those who do not know what the inspirations of this world are, Animatopia is based off Kepler-452b, Azeroth from Warcraft, Mar Sara, Tarsonis and Korhal from StarCraft, Atreia from Aion, Earthrealm from Mortal Kombat, Eorzea from Final Fantasy, Golarian from Pathfinder, the Pokémon World from the Pokémon series, and Arborea from the Unreal universe. And in order to properly describe this, Animatopia is where the wonderful fantasy and the futuristic sci-fi meet modern times it contemporarily took place, has many cultures of respective lands that heavily and vaguely resemble the depictions of contemporary and futuristic times on Earth with combined embellishments of folkloric, paranormal, and scientific elements, and all of its technologies are based off those from  modern-day contemporary Earth, including those from the future and other sci-fi titles. Also, it spans around 385 days per year in comparison to Earth's.

Name

If you want to know what is its meaning, the name Alfebeth is derived from the first two letters of this alphabet in order: Alfesh, which has replaced the Greek suffix "-pha" with "-fesh" after the Greek letter Alpha, and Beth, the second letter of the Alfebeth script, is derived from the second letter of the Greek alphabet known as Beta, but its suffix letter "a" is replaced with "h".
